I immigrated from the Philippines to Chicago when I was five years old.
I come from a family of nurses, dentists, teachers, and caregivers. Taking care of others is in my DNA.
Growing up, I was never taught the power of investing in the stock market or learned about compound interest. Building wealth was never discussed; I was taught to study hard so that I could get a stable and safe job. Building financial security was the main focus of my family.
As immigrants, my parents were focused on surviving. They did their best and gave me every opportunity they could, and I am so thankful. Because of what they started and the foundation they gave me, I can focus on thriving through investing and making passive income. I want to take you with me and teach you how to do this too. I want all of our families to reach that next level of freedom and success.

I was raised by a nurse, my sister is a nurse, and most of my friends are nurses. I care so *deeply* for the human beings behind this profession.
So I say this with the utmost love and respect: nurses are terrible at caring of themselves, especially their finances.
